"You can't run away from your own head"

"You can't run away from your own head"

SZ-Magazin: Ms. Werner, many people brood day and night and would love to be able to turn it off for a moment. On the other hand , you say that it shouldn't be about stopping brooding - but about brooding better. What does that mean? The impulse to want to get rid of brooding is completely understandable. But for one thing, you can't just switch brooding off. If you could, it wouldn't be brooding. The definition of brooding already includes the fact that it is relatively persistent, goes on and on and on. The other thing is: I think you would miss something if you simply switched it off - even if you could.
